Dr. Barry Kalsy

Dr. Barry completed his graduation from Bombay Veterinary College and pursued his dream of becoming a Veterinary Surgeon which he carried from his School days. His is extremely passionate about his work and enjoys it to the fullest as he says; “I am at my best when I am working with a anaesthetised animal" !

 

After completing his degree he started looking for courses to improve his surgical skills. He has been trained by renowned surgeons abroad in field of Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic surgeries. He keeps himself abreast by attending workshops and conferences held in India and abroad. He has completed many Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue surgery modules conducted by renowned International Veterinary Surgical Societies.

 

He is passionate about offering quality soft tissue surgeries to his patients and has been a done some pioneer work in areas of Veterinary Orthopaedic procedures such as Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomies, Femoral head osteotomies and other minimally invasive soft tissue surgeries in India. He also has keen interest in joint diseases of small animals. He is also one of the most sought out vets for complicated procedures such as diaphragmatic hernias, nephrectomies etc. He enjoys providing education to referring vets and colleagues and has been a mentor to many fresh graduates.
