Dr. Chetana Pitale

Dr. Chetana completed her graduation and post-graduation in Veterinary Pathology from Bombay Veterinary College in 2015, after which she joined Top Dog Pets Clinic as a Clinical Pathologist.

 

Her job profile includes diagnosis of disease using laboratory testing of blood and other bodily fluids, tissues, and microscopic evaluation of individual cells. For her post-graduation thesis she worked on clinico-pathological and histopathological studies of soft tissue tumours in canines.

 

She is the Head of Pathology at the clinic. She is particularly known for her expertise in veterinary oncology and is one of the foremost veterinary clinical pathologists. She has done many international and national courses and continues to educate herself in the field. She receives many referrals from across the country for her opinion on difficult cases. She is one of the central figures in the practice and her opinions are highly instrumental in the patient care that we provide. She passionate about Veterinary Oncology, Cytology, Haematology, Histological Studies and Transfusion Medicine.
